. . . Nelson Agholor, 1st Round. . player. 54

20th-overall selection (2015)

Whoa, Nelly. It’s Nelson Agholor. When it’s all said and done, how will the Philadelphia Eagles and their fans remember the former 20th-overall selection of the 2015 NFL Draft?

Some defend him because he was an important piece of Philly’s championship run during the 2017-2018 season. Unfortunately, that part of the Agholor story is sandwiched between a very slow start and what’s going to be remembered as a pretty pathetic ending.

Yes, there was the guy who caught the 83-yard bomb from Nick Foles in 2019 during a late-season and important win versus the Houston Texans. There was also the guy that had a catch and long touchdown run by Zach Ertz called back in Seattle because he couldn’t line up properly.

There was the guy that we held sympathy for when he said he was ‘in his head’. There was the guy who threw Carson Wentz under the bus after Wentz always went out of his way to defend him publicly and the guy that we talk about for allegedly created the burner account to trash QB1 because he was too cowardly to walk across the locker room and air his grievances with the man face to face.

Come on. No one thinks that wasn’t Agholor, do they? Did you notice the burner account vanished once he was confronted about it?

Agholor’s hauled in 224 receptions for 2,515 yards and 18 touchdowns in an Eagles jersey, but there are more bad memories about this guy than good ones. His time in Philly is up. Goodbye and good riddance. Grade: A very low D
