Will Philadelphia end up biting the bullet by parting ways with Alshon Jeffery this offseason?

Better yet, will the Eagles decide that DeSean Jackson is too much of a risk in regards to staying healthy, and move on from the veteran as well?

After all of the injuries Philadelphia dealt with at the wide receiver position last season, it was amazing to witness the team still find a way to win the NFC East title for a second time in three seasons.

But also, the Eagles realize to pull it off again in a similar situation during the 2020 season will be nearly impossible, which is why this offseason will be extremely important to make sure they add depth at the wide receiver position.

In four years at Washington State, Dezmon Patmon proved to be the kind of receiver who got better with experience, and this trend will hopefully continue once his arrival to the NFL becomes official.

The 58 catches for 762 yards to go along with eight touchdowns makes it seem like Patmon is far from being the kind of No. 1 wideout Philadelphia may be searching for in the draft.

But for all the Eagles know, the soon to be rookie could benefit from playing alongside some of the team’s current receivers.
