170. 54. Defensive Tackle. Pick Analysis. Nebraska. Darrion Daniels. player. Scouting Report

As previously mentioned, the Eagles are going to need all of the extra help possible on both sides of the football in 2020 if they’re going to have a shot at winning the NFC East for a third time in four seasons when looking at what their rivals are expected to do next year.

This late in the draft, it can be difficult sometimes to find the right talent capable of making an impact during their first NFL season, but Darrion Daniels is a name worth keeping an eye on leading up to the draft.

With the kind of quickness Daniels possesses, this could be another great project for Jim Schwartz and company to work on for the long run to help keep the defense in better shape for years to come.

Just like McKivitz, Daniels would be another situation in which the Eagles could afford to be patient with development wise, although they certainly wouldn’t be made if the Nebraska star found a way to make an impact right away come September.

Staying healthy is going to be one of the red flags surrounding Daniels in the draft when looking at some of his previous injuries over the years, but as far as Philadelphia is concerned, this late of a pick would still be worth taking a risk on.
