10 candidates for Eagles at No. 21 in 2020 NFL Draft following combine
By Dan Parzych
Keeping the trend going with members from the Tigers that could help the Eagles remain contenders in 2020, Justin Jefferson is a wide receiver worth keeping an eye on moving forward if Philadelphia does decide to go wideout in the first round come April.
Prior to the combine, the argument can be made that Jefferson wasn’t exactly receiving the proper attention he deserved to be a potential first-round pick, but this is the perfect example of how an impressive outing can improve a player’s stock.
Watching Jefferson record a 4.43 time in the 40-yard dash on top of the fact that finished his final season with the Tigers catching 111 passes for 1,540 yards to go along with 18 touchdowns shows what kind of addition this could be for Philadelphia’s passing game.
As much as the Eagles would love to see Alshon Jeffery and DeSean Jackson return to their normal ways on offense, last season made it clear the two are still big mysteries at the moment when it comes to what 2020 could have in store.
Due to injuries each player dealt with last season, Philadelphia needs to take the proper approach this offseason by bringing on help at wide receiver, whether this means Jefferson or someone else.
