. . Troy Dye. . player. 820.

One thing about the six-foot-three and 231-pound Troy Dye is certain. No one’s going to complain about his size. If you didn’t know who he was and just bumped into him somewhere, you’d probably assume that he was a professional star anyway.

He’s more than just a superior athlete though as constant references are made to his high football IQ and his decision making. The Oregon Ducks‘ Pro Day is scheduled for March 12th, and there won’t be any shortage of suitors, especially those looking for someone who can hold down the role of an inside linebacker.

Much was expected of Dye in his final season with the Ducks after posting 115 tackles, two sacks, an interception, and eight pass breakups. He didn’t register as many tackles in 2019 (84), but he was his usual productive self (2.5 sacks, two picks, four passes breakups, and two forced fumbles).

He’s gotten both third and fourth-round grades, and even though his draft stock could still rise, he’s as good an option as any if the Eagles are looking to add a linebacker in the middle rounds.
