Julian Okwara. . player. 819. . .

Is Julian Okwara a defensive end, an outside linebacker in the 3-4 scheme, or a suitable option in Jim Schwartz‘s 4-3 scheme? That’s the million-dollar question surrounding this six-foot-five, 240-pound standout from the Notre Dame Fighting Irish.

We could all praise his versatility, but we could also argue that the confusion about where he fits on most NFL defenses will lead to some other conversations when we’d rather be talking about the six-foot-five, 240-pound prospect and how he racked up 79 tackles, 15.5 sacks, two picks, and four forced fumbles in 35 career games at the collegiate level.

He’s gotten everything from second to fourth-round grades, and in his draft profile, NFL.com’s Lance Zierlein compares him to Lance Johnstone. We’ll see if the Eagles show any interest. Notre Dame’s Pro Day is scheduled for April 1st.
