The Philadelphia Eagles receive some expected but good news prior to the free agency period concerning the upcoming NFL Draft.

This is kind of what the Philadelphia Eagles, most of their fans, and the media expected, so this won’t be placed in the category of surprises. It’s still good to see though. With the days of the free agency period drawing closer, dawn broke on some news concerning the NFL Draft.

Many of our theories were confirmed as the ‘Birds’ have been rewarded with three compensatory picks in the upcoming selection meeting.

Again, that isn’t huge news as many of us expected for that to be the case. Before we get to that however we need to look at these compensatory picks, where they came from, and how they will be placed. Let’s dig in. Here are three thoughts following March 10th’s news.
