. Derek Wolfe. . player. 45. .

Derek Wolfe is immensely talented. He’s also extremely injury prone. He’s played the full 16 slate of games three times throughout his eight-year career. Last season, he was only available for twelve. That could knock a few dollars off of his price tag if it doesn’t scare some teams off entirely. What’s sad is the fact that you can’t even blame age as being one of the issues.

He’s only 30 years old.

Two things are certain. One, Wolfe would be ranked much higher if he could demonstrate an ability to stay on the field. Second, the prospect of adding someone who’s in constant danger of winding up on the injury report has to be a turnoff for the Eagles brass at this point.

player. 35. . . . Logan Ryan.

Logan Ryan is the owner of a name that’s been mentioned in conjunction with the Eagles before. Sure, they need cornerbacks, and Ryan is one of the better options in the free agency pool. Still, there are better scheme fits and guys who are more talented if Philly wants to invest in upgrading their roster at the position.

Truthfully, Brian PooleBradley Roby, and James Bradberry are all better options. Ryan is good at a lot of things, but he isn’t necessarily great at anything. Everyone is just a little excited because his pick-six sealed the deal over the New England Patriots in the AFC Wild Card Game, but if we focus on the entire picture instead of a small snapshot, we can all learn that we can pump the breaks slightly.
