Robby Anderson. . player. 30. . .

If you’re a fan of the Philadelphia Eagles, you’ve no doubt tossed and turned at night as you dreamt about this team adding speed to an offense that lost a ton of it when DeSean Jackson got hurt and seemed to be void of any except for the points in the game when they decided to hand the ball or toss it to Miles Sanders.

Robby Anderson is going to get a lot of looks and he’s going to be discussed very often because every NFL team is talking about deep threats and getting faster. He can take the lid off of every defense if your team has a quarterback with the arm talent to get him the ball. His Achilles heel is this.

He’s not going to do much else to help your team out. He’s probably not going to catch a ton 50-50 balls. He’s not going to be overpowering in the red zone, and he’s certainly not going to catch balls over the middle of the field, take a ton of punishment, and hang on with consistency.

Anderson is 190 pounds for goodness sakes and seeing as how Philly’s getting DeSean Jackson back in 2020 and they’re probably going to invest in a wideout in the draft, there’s no need to invest a lot of money in what may be free agency’s best deep threat.
