player. 829. . . . Trevon Diggs. 1

Trevon Diggs is the best corner in this draft class not named Jeffrey Okudah or C.J. Henderson. Some scouts may see Arnette as the better option, but Diggs gets the nod on this list because he’s bigger, faster, and held up well versus a more difficult schedule.

Diggs is six-foot-one and 205 pounds as opposed to the six-foot and 190-pound Arnette. Diggs played well against some of the country’s best talent in the SEC, and he racked up 37 tackles, three picks (one of which was a pick-six), and eight pass breakups to go along with two fumble recoveries. One of those led to a defensive score as well.

Diggs also posted a slightly better 40 time in Indianapolis. He ran a 4.5-second 40 as opposed to Arnette’s 4.56-second showing. You can’t go wrong if you’re an NFL team if you choose either guy, but again, Diggs gets a slight edge on this list. It’s doubtful that he winds up in Philly, but he’s definitely worth them keeping an eye on.
