10. player. 50. . . . Tavon Wilson

Tavon Wilson is, simply, what you would call one of the better players on a bad football team. Sure, there are times when the Detroit Lions save their best performances for the national spotlight, but more often than not they’re, well, the Lions.

Don’t blame anything bad that happened for them in 2019 on Mr. Austin though. He was worth the price of admission is you were actually interested in taking in a Lions game.

Count them up. He hauled the guy with the ball down 98 times en route to a season where he’d end up tallying three tackles for a loss, a sack, and five pass breakups from the safety position. Some team is going to be very happy to land him.

. . Tony Jefferson. 9. player. 26.

The writing was on the wall with Tony Jefferson. Just think about that knee injury and the $11 million that he was due if he returned to the Baltimore Ravens in 2020. You see, injuries sometimes allow teams to figure out that they can win without you being there. Such was the case with Mr. Jefferson as he missed all but five games during the most recent regular season.

Baltimore won anyway. Now, they have the opportunity to take some of that dinero that they were going to give to this talented safety and do a little ‘addition by subtraction’. Fear not if you’re a fan of Jefferson’s. He’ll get a shot to play somewhere else.
