One shining moment

After sitting on the sidelines in the NFL, Walker finally got his shot in the XFL this past season and didn’t let it go to waste. Walker took the league by storm for five weeks by leading the Roughnecks to a 5-0 record, as they led the league in passing yards per game and points per game.

Walker was first among quarterbacks in passing yards (1,338), passing touchdowns (15), and completions (119), and finished with just four interceptions to go along with a 104.4 passer rating.

On the ground, Walker also added 99 rushing yards and a touchdown on 24 attempts.

Without question, Walker was well on his way to becoming the MVP and was named to the Midseason All-XFL team right before the league was shutdown.

Due to these accomplishments, Walker has earned the right to compete for an active roster spot and the new CBA has expanded the roster to 55 players, which gives him a better chance for 2020.

If the numbers aren’t enough to convince you of his talent, Walker’s film should be.

Even if the NFL is a whole new ball game compared to the XFL, this is still some impressive film to build Walker’s case for deserving consideration from the Eagles.
