Philadelphia Eagles: 4 reasons to consider signing Breshad Perriman
By Dan Parzych
1. Perriman wouldn’t face pressure to be top wideout
As frustrating as things were at wide receiver for the Eagles at times last season, the truth is the unit is still in much better shape than some other teams across the league.
Once Jeffery and Jackson are hopefully healthy enough to return to their normal ways, Philadelphia should have little trouble returning to their dominant ways.
Take this into consideration with the fact that Zach Ertz continues to show signs of being one of the league’s top pass-catching tight ends, there are plenty of reasons to be excited about the potential surrounding the Eagles’ offense in 2020.
If Perriman were to become part of the picture, this would help the potential in Philadelphia reach new levels, and one of the best parts would be how much he could benefit from playing alongside some of the other members of the Eagles.
Since Perriman wouldn’t be facing nearly as much pressure to be the top option in the passing game if he were to join the Eagles, this seems like another factor that could benefit all parties involved.
Plus, since Perriman will only be 27 come September, if things were to work out for the best in 2020, this could set Philadelphia up perfectly for the long run at wideout.
