. . . Taylor Gabriel. 8. player. 57

Taylor Gabriel isn’t getting mentioned often, but after going undrafted in 2014, he’s constructed a career that far surpasses that of quite a few NFL stars (some of them on this list) that have entered the league with more fanfare.

228 receptions, 2,860 receiving yards, and 15 touchdowns is a stat line that quite a few guys on this list will kill for. Gabriel isn’t going to ever be confused for being Julio Jones or Larry Fitzgerald, but whether you like hearing this or not, there’s no guarantee that he isn’t better than any wideout on the Eagles roster not named DeSean Jackson.

He isn’t needed to take over a roster. He just needs to play his role on the offense, something Gabriel does perfectly.

. . Rashard Higgins. 7. player. 53.

Here’s a guy that the Cleveland Browns found in Round 5 of the 2016 NFL Draft. How did that one work out? In four seasons, he’s been waived, on the practice squad, and elevated to the full 53-man roster. He’s appeared in 54 games with six starts, and he’s contributed to the Browns’ cause with 76 career snags for 1,016 tards and seven trips to the end zone.

The Browns have moved on, but at 25 years of age and at six-foot-one and 198 pounds, you have to figure that Rashard Higgins has a lot of good football left in him.
