Pick Analysis. Iowa. 54. Scouting Report. Offensive Lineman . Tristan Wirfs. 8. player

Rightfully so, providing Wentz with the necessary protection from the offensive line has become a top priority for the Eagles over the last couple of season when seeing some of the quarterback’s previous injuries in 2017 and 2018.

Luckily, Wentz was able to prove most of his critics wrong last season by appearing in every game for Philadelphia, and it’s difficult not to wonder what could have been in the playoffs if it weren’t for that cheap shot from Jadeveon Clowney.

As frustrating as that loss to the Seattle Seahawks was for the Eagles, at least the team still has plenty of reasons to feel confident in Wentz being their leader on offense for years to come.

But when it comes to Philadelphia’s current situation with the offensive line, there are a few questions heading into 2020.

Between all the uncertainty surrounding Andre Dillard along with Jason Peters no longer being around, the Eagles will need to make sure they have the necessary depth for next season, which is why the draft will be so important.

Iowa’s Tristan Wirfs could be another perfect option worth considering at No. 21 for Philadelphia, and his impact in helping the run game makes this an even more attractive possibility to help the Eagles on offense.
