Green Bay Packers: Kevin King

Kevin King picked the perfect time to display his best NFL year in 2019 when taking into consideration the cornerback’s contract will be up after this upcoming season.

Most likely, the Green Bay Packers will do everything in their power to keep King around for the long run to make sure they continue to be set at the cornerback position, but also this is far from a guarantee, as money sometimes becomes an issue.

Thanks to the results of last season, King should feel confident in earning a hefty deal down the road, and if the Packers end up realizing he could be too expensive to keep around down the road, a potential trade is always a possibility.

This may sound ridiculous to even consider at this point in the offseason, but these kinds of moves happen all the time at the NFL level.

From Philadelphia’s perspective, the team came up big this offseason already by acquiring Slay from the Lions, but with the No. 2 spot still somewhat of a mystery, all options need to be considered at this point.

If the Eagles were to find a way to land King, and sign him to a new deal for the long run, the cornerback duo in Philadelphia would almost seem too good to be true.
