New England Patriots: James White

Technically, James White is considered a running back for the New England Patriots, but the fact that he has more career receiving yards than rushing shows where he makes the most impact on offense.

Over the years, White has been the kind of player who could take a simple pass, and turn it into a big gain, which is why opposing defenses tend to have so much trouble trying to keep him in check.

With Tom Brady no longer part of the picture in New England, it will be interesting to see how the Patriots’ offense looks without the future Hall of Famer since replacing him is going to be far from easy.

At least with White, the running back’s presence will help take some of the pressure off New England’s quarterback for 2020, that is whenever they do make an official selection.

Meanwhile, the Eagles hope the new duo led by Miles Sanders and Boston Scott can do the same for Wentz since the offense is already going to be facing a ton of pressure to improve after all the injuries from last season.

Add another playmaker such as White through a trade to the mix, Philadelphia’s backfield becomes even stronger.
