Philly made a couple of wise decisions in the second round of 2012’s selection meeting with the addition of Mychal Kendricks in the 46th slot and Vinny Curry in the 59th.

No, they never made it to the Pro Bowl. They won’t make it to Canton. They probably won’t even make it into the Eagles Hall of Fame, but over the course of their time here, both have done enough to escape the bust category and foster the opinion that their selections were worth it.

Curry appeared in 105 games with 21 starts, racking up 167 tackles with 27 sacks. Kendricks added to the Eagles cause with 481 tackles, 14 sacks, six forced fumbles, five fumble recoveries, 25 pass breakups, and three interceptions.

There was a little drama towards the end of his run in Philly, and there’s nothing positive that’s going to come from any conversation about what he’s gotten himself into from a personal standpoint, but Kendricks did a nice job during his time in Philly. We can all probably agree on that. Grade: B-
