Philly continues to evaluate the new guys and the ones who are already here.

The Eagles are in good cap shape even after being aggressive in free agency. They addressed many of their defensive needs with the additions of Javon Hargrave, Will Parks, Jatavis Brown, and a trade that brought Darius Slay into the fold. Coach and Mr. Spadaro spent a little time on that topic.

"Obviously, each year free agency comes, and we know that, one, first thing is we’d love to be able to sign all of our guys back. That’s first and foremost. These guys have helped us win a championship, some of them. (They’ve) put us in position to get into the postseason the last two years. That’s the first goal. We try to sign our own, but that’s, I think, it’s obviously not realistic… We’re going to lose guys, (but I say to them) ‘go get what you can (and) if you get an opportunity to become a starter, I think it’s a great opportunity for our own players"

Here’s more from Coach Pederson.

"We’ve got to be active. Howie’s been active with free agency. We’ve signed obviously defensive players but (they’re) guys that are really going to help us, step in, compete, give us value, and these are really good players. We’re excited about that, and of course, we’ve still got the draft coming up… I’m excited to get these guys in the building at some point and really get to know them and see how they can help our team."

We all look forward to seeing these guys in green jerseys.
