. Jon Runyan, OT (2000-2008). 5. player. 54. .

Residents of the Delaware Valley love Jon Runyan so much that, after his playing days were over, they elected him to the U.S. House of Representatives.

He served in the third congressional district of New Jersey from 2011 until 2015. His one Pro Bowl nod doesn’t do any justice in the effort of explaining how good he was. His battles with the New York Giants‘ legendary defensive end, Michael Strahan, is the stuff of legend.

This offensive tackle signed a six-year, $30 million deal on February 14th of 2000, and all he did was hold down a tackle spot brilliantly for nine seasons. For you Eagles fans who are a little younger, think Lane Johnson with a mean streak.

Runyan is a member of the Philadelphia Eagles 75th Anniversary Team. Now, if he’s thought of that highly, it seems as though leaving him off of this top-ten list would be ridiculous.
