Philadelphia Eagles: 2 thoughts, 2 unusual ideas for NFL Draft’s 53rd pick

2. Throw out at least four positions as options.Although we haven’t figured out who the second cornerback on the depth chart is, the current roster has so many bodies that we can guess that might suggest the Eagles aren’t taking a swing at the cornerback position in Round 2. Adding someone to the offensive line is also probably out of the question.

The defensive tackle position won’t be addressed as that might be Philly’s deepest position on either side of the ball, and the defensive end position already has several young players the Eagles are looking at developing.

With all of that being said, who might the selection be at 53?

Everything Philly needs aren’t positions that fit the trend of what we’ve seen Roseman do in the past. Who’s to say that the Eagles won’t use that selection to land the Eagles a proven star? Hold on to your seats. This is where it gets interesting.
