1. Extra competition at wideout never hurts

At the moment, it is safe to assume that Jackson, Jeffery, and Reagor’s job for the 2020 season will be safe, as long as each player manages to stay healthy.

But when it comes to the rest of the wide receivers for the Eagles, this is where things could get competitive for playing time, including Goodwin.

Along with these four players, Philadelphia also has other players such as Hightower, Greg Ward, and JJ Arcega-Whiteside competing for roster spots during the 2020 season.

Competition tends to bring out the best in players sometimes in sports, and while some of the names listed above seemed to be a guarantee a few months ago as far as roster spots are concerned, all of this seems up in the air now.

Even Goodwin himself will need to prove that he deserves to compete for playing time on Sundays since the veteran could easily miss out due to one of his new teammates outperforming him throughout training camp and preseason.
