2. Corey Clement

No Eagles fan will ever forget the young undrafted rookie’s incredible performance in Super Bowl 52, as Corey Clement had seven touches for 108 yards and one controversial trip into the end zone that game.

Unfortunately, since that incredible performance, Clement has not been a consistent force in the Eagles’ offense.

Clement missed all of 2019 due to a shoulder injury, as he was set to be the third back behind Howard and Sanders, but never had the chance to showcase his improvements during his third professional season.

Recently, Clement had a conversation with 6 ABC’s Jeff Skversky on April 22 and had a few things to say about a potential return to Philly.

"Everybody knows deep down I thank [the Eagles] for accepting me with open arms. Those guys are championship caliber family to me. But, right now, business is business. Everybody knows I’m from Philly and if home is Philly, I want to be home."

Clement wouldn’t be a lock to make the roster if the Eagles were to give him another opportunity, but you would have to think if Philly did bring him back he would become the third option in the backfield.

Clement has yet to prove he can be a great second option, but Philly loves him just as much as he loves the city. He brings passion and championship experience to every game he will play in.

Plus, Clement isn’t going to demand a lot money, so the Eagles could scoop him up for cheap if they viewed him as a piece to the newest championship puzzle.
