player. 54. . . . John Hightower and Quez Watkins.

Boise State’s John Hightower was a fifth-round selection and Quez Watkins was a sixth-rounder, but the two should be able to work their way on to the 53-man roster.

Hightower possesses blazing speed and is coming into the NFL as a raw talent. He has just two years of Division I football under his belt with the Broncos after transferring from a JUCO. He ran faster than Reagor at the NFL Scouting Combine, and he stands two inches taller than the first-round selection. Hightower isn’t as physical as Reagor, but he still has the ability to leap and pluck balls out of the air. He makes the team based on his speed and upside.

Watkins ran even faster than Hightower and Reagor at the combine, and it wasn’t close. In fact, Watkins’ 40-time was second only to the first receiver off the board, Henry Ruggs III. In this young man’s junior season at Southern Mississippi, he accumulated 1,178 yards with an average of 18.4 yards per catch. If he would’ve stayed for his senior season, he probably would’ve wound up as a third-round selection in 2021.

Watkins is going to torch corners in camp. Look for him to slowly develop into a nice player for Philadelphia.
