5. Washington Redskins: Week 1 (Away), Week 17 (Home)

Could this finally be the year in which the Washington Redskins become relevant again in the NFC?

This may seem like a long shot at the moment for a team coming off a season in which they won just three games, but believe it or not, there are plenty of reasons to believe the Redskins could emerge as a surprise contender during the 2020 season.

For starters, in what seems like the first time in forever, Washington finally has a young quarterback in Dwayne Haskins to be excited about after all those years struggling to find someone to build the offense around.

Like most young quarterbacks, Haskins clearly has numerous areas in need of improvement before the former Ohio State star can be viewed as a top player in the league at the position, but he also displayed a ton of potential as a rookie.

Take this factor into consideration with the Redskins coming up big in the draft with the selection of arguably the top defender from this year’s class in Chase Young, Washington has certainly added the right pieces to take a step in the right direction.

Also, the Eagles can’t ignore the rivalry factor that always seems to come into play here when these two teams meet, so they better be prepared for both contests against the Redskins since they will each be far from easy.
