Philadelphia Eagles: 5 bold predictions following 2020 schedule release
By Dan Parzych
3. Eagles only lose once in first two months
If all goes according to plan for Philadelphia, the defending NFC East champions should be able to enter the month of November with a winning record, although this will be easier said than done when looking at the schedule.
From back-to-back road games against the San Francisco 49ers and Pittsburgh Steelers to start off October to the Baltimore Ravens coming to town right after, the Eagles will face numerous playoff-caliber teams early on to be tested right away.
Right away, there will be some critics who strongly believe that Philadelphia will enter November with at least a few losses to their name, but also if the Eagles are truly top contenders, there is every reason to believe they can compete with the best of teams.
Even if Philadelphia lost just one of the three tough games mentioned before, they should be able to take advantage of the other favorable contests from the other weeks to pile up some much-needed wins.
Whether it involves facing a familiar team right away in the Washington Redskins or simply being able to take advantage of the Cincinnati Bengals coming to town, if the Eagles play their cards right, they could very well be 6-1 before November arrives.
