team. 32. . . . Arizona Cardinals. 1

Week 15: December 20th

Nothing says “trap game” like a Week-15 road contest versus a team that may not have anything to play for that late in the season.

An educated guess would probably lead us all to the same destination. The NFC West will again be one of the league’s most competitive divisions. The aforementioned 49ers and Seahawks probably figure to battle it out all season for the division’s crown. The Rams will be a tough out, and they could shock some people (and their divisional foes). We’re probably all guessing that the Arizona Cardinals will finish in the cellar.

That doesn’t mean that they’ll mail in any games, and you can count on that regardless of what their record might be with three games left in the season. None of us have ever seen them do it, and that was a lesson Eagles fans learned when Arizona was still a part of a much more competitive NFC East.

Trending. What to expect from the offensive rookies who aren’t WRs. light

Expect the Cards to continue to improve. Expect the best effort from their young star quarterback Kyler Murray and a forward-thinking head coach, Kliff Kingsbury. Expect former Eagle Jordan Hicks to play out of his mind versus his former team.

This one also follows a three-game stretch versus the Seahawks, the Packers, and the Saints, and it precedes to divisional games versus the Dallas Cowboys and Washington Redskins to close the regular-season journey. Ouch!
