Here are a few final thoughts.

In looking at Agholor’s five-year run in Philly, the bad outweighs the good. It was difficult to root for him at times. His 2015, 2016, and 2019 seasons didn’t go the way they were expected, and that will likely define his career as an Eagle.

It’s one thing to make mistakes, but his inability to give his all on a long bomb from Wentz in Week 8 on Sunday Night Football versus the Dallas Cowboys is a microcosm of what “Birds” fans have watched for too long. Agholor failed to give it his all and was a step to slow. The result? A pass that was thrown in his direction fell harmlessly to the turf.

There’s no way Eagles fans are going to forget that one.

“Birds” fans won’t forget 2017 and 2018 either though. For two seasons, Agholor was a key contributor during two postseason runs, one of which resulted in Philadelphia’s first Super Bowl parade. If not for Agholor, many memorable moments of that stretch are erased.

Not only did his speed and quickness allow him to get open quickly and make plays, but he also created opportunities for others. Doug Pederson utilized more of his playbook and orchestrated one of the most efficient offenses in the NFL. For all we know, we could have been back on Broad Street in January of 2019 celebrating with Agholor had Alshon Jeffery‘s season-ending drop in the Divisional Round wound up as a catch.
