Philly found Albert Huggins on the Houston Texans‘ practice squad but released him after he played four games in 2019. The New England Patriots signed him and released him within the span of a six-day period, and as fate would have it, injuries and such led Philly to give him another chance.
Sure, he’s on the team, but no matter how you analyze things, it’s hard to make a successful argument for placing him on the roster. He’s auditioning to play somewhere else.
Keegan Render was an undrafted free agent the Eagles signed after the 2019 draft. He’s hanging in there as off now, but he won’t make this team either. Philly just has too many better offensive linemen.
Nate Herbig was on the field for 12 snaps in 2019. That includes three offensive plays and nine more on special teams. He’s not beating out Brandon Brooks and Isaac Seumalo. We know that. He’s probably behind Sua Opeta and Matt Pryor on the depth chart as well. We know that.
Things can change, but right now, it’s hard to imagine him finding his way onto the roster.
