3. Sanders can be used in multiple ways

While there were times in which Philadelphia used Sanders on special teams, it’s safe to assume the Eagles will mostly use him as a running back and receiver during his sophomore NFL season.

Sanders was already considered to be a threat on offense due to his ability to find the open field as a runner, but the running back’s ability to be just as dangerous in the receiving game could increase his chances to win MVP even more.

In fact, with all of the issues Philadelphia dealt with in the wide receiver department last season due to injuries to key players such as Alshon Jeffery and DeSean Jackson, the 50 catches for 509 yards turned out to be even more important for the Eagles.

No matter what the situation, any running back that can be just as effective in the receiving department will always seem to have an extra advantage against opponents and this should be the case for Sanders in 2020 as well.

Sanders may not see as many passes now that Philadelphia’s receiving corps is expected to be healthier compared to last season, but as long as he finds ways to contribute, this will still be big for the Eagles on offense.
