The Philadelphia Eagles miss on another possible key addition. This time it’s Carlos Hyde.

At this point, it almost seems like a cycle. It always begins with a discussion about an NFL star’s availability or disdain with his current situation. Often, he plays a position that’s seen as one of the Philadephia Eagles‘ largest areas of need. Rumors begin floating about the likelihood that he’ll join the “Birds”. The fans and media react. You all know what comes next. It’s time for the conversations about whether or not Howie Roseman’s lost his touch and how serious this team is about winning.

News broke on May 22nd shortly before dinnertime on the East Coast that Carlos Hyde signed with the Seattle Seahawks, first by Tom Pelissero of the NFL Network. Pelissero was quickly verified by trusted sources like Ian Rapoport and the NFL’s official social media accounts.

The reaction to this one has been all over the place. Let’s attempt to break down some of the madness. Here are three reactions.
