4. Are we still discussing this Philadelphia Eagles’ defensive end rotation?

The Eagles depth at defensive end may not be nearly as dire as the aforementioned concerns at running back or linebacker, but it isn’t as good as some are hoping it will be. Brandon Graham and Derek Barnett will act as the starting bookends through 2020, barring injuries as fans continue to wait for Barnett’s breakout season.

Josh Sweat turned in a quietly admirable campaign in his sophomore season. There’s also the possibility of Malik Jackson seeing some reps along the edge. It seems as though the depth is adequate, but this may be a situation where Philly has a lot of bodies, but no real answers.

Last season, the Eagles’ most productive edge rusher in the final half of the regular season was Vinny Curry, who is currently a free agent.

If he doesn’t return, a scary thought seeing as how no one will sign him outside of Philadelphia, then the final two or three spots in the defensive end rotation could come down to a battle between Shareef Miller, Genard Avery, Daeshon Hall, Joe Ostman, and 2020 seventh-round selection Casey Toohill.

Let’s dig a little deeper here.
