It just feels like some Philadelphia Eagles fans are never going to get it.

One of the interesting things about scouting is the fact that it’s not an exact science. There aren’t two scouts that do their job the same way. There aren’t two teams that handle the process the same way. Evaluation is person-specific. Just ask the Philadelphia Eagles or their fans. A conversation about any player can lead to hour-long debates with great points being made on both sides.

As we enter another NFL season (hopefully), the “Birds”, as they always are, find themselves as the subjects of quite a few football-related discussions. The way they build their roster has been questioned. Many of their players on that roster have been debated. No one has any real answers about anything.

All we know is this. This team is expected to battle the Dallas Cowboys all season for NFC East superiority. If they’re to answer the call, they’ll need all-star efforts from these five guys. All are talented. All will be a huge part of this team’s success if there is any. All are the most underappreciated Eagles on the roster by much of the media and this team’s fan base.

Before we begin, let’s give an honorable mention to Brandon Graham. He’s someone the Eagles love and respect but also someone the national audience refuses to give the proper amount of respect to. Now, that we’ve gotten that out of the way, here are five Eagles who may not be appropriately appreciated until they’re gone.
