Madden NFL 21: Regrades for their top 10 Philadelphia Eagles

Lane Johnson, Right tackle. 90. player. 54. . . Previous: 89th

What EA Sports did to Philadelphia Eagles right tackle Lane Johnson is just disrespectful.

This may be seen as being greedy or as a homer’s opinion, but the argument can be made that four Pro Football Hall of Famers could be snatched off of these Eagles offensive lines that we’ve been watching for the past few seasons. Jason Peters is an obvious one. So is Jason Kelce, but the same can be said about Brandon Brooks and Lane Johnson.

Heck, Lane gets overlooked sometimes because of the other guys that Philly has or has had, but is he not one of the game’s best right tackles. This guy has been a brick wall for seven seasons and giving him a rating below 90 is just flat-out disrespectful.

54. . . Previous: 87th. Darius Slay, cornerback. 90. player

“I know one thing. Madden better have me 90-plus overall”. Those were the words of one Darius Slay earlier this week as he was talking about his upcoming Madden grade. Well, he won’t be happy about what EA came up with.

This one must have been personal for somebody. Darius Slay is one of the game’s best cornerbacks, and it’s going to be interesting to see if Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Amari Cooper gets anything higher than Slay got, you know, seeing as how Slay shut him down and all.

This one is a no brainer. Darius Slay was right. In his mind, he’s a 90, and he’s a 90 in our book as well.
