6 Philadelphia Eagles that will elevate your Fantasy team in 2020
‘D-Jax’ still carries value for the Philadelphia Eagles and for Fantasy drafts.
Veteran wide receiver DeSean Jackson is still going strong heading into his 13th NFL season and is currently one of the toughest players to cover in Eagles camp. Injuries have hurt his ability to contribute in recent seasons, but whenever he gets the ball in his hands, there’s a chance that something special can happen.
‘D-Jax’ has averaged 17.4 yards per pass in his career, and in 2019, albeit in one game, he showed he still has the speed to stretch the field like few players at his position can. ‘D-Jax’ caught eight passes for 154 yards and two touchdowns in Week 1. He’d only hauling in one more for five additional yards against the Chicago Bears in Week 9, but once again, he had proven he’s still lethal. He’s definitely worth investing a pick in your Fantasy draft if you have one in the middle rounds.
Recent injuries are forcing owners to place their attention in other areas. ’10’ is almost certain to miss a game or two (or three). He won’t be as available as Michael Thomas and he may not be seen as being in the same class as Julio Jones. That’s fine. Nobody expects them to play at that level or have that kind of production at this point in his career. Still, if you’re a Fantasy owner and you aren’t taking him with lofty expectations, he can be a steady contributor for your franchise.
