54. . . . The Eagles' receivers vs Washington's DBs. 3. player

We’ll see how good these Philadelphia Eagles wide receivers are very soon.

If the Eagles offensive line does its job, we can then put a lot of stock in the possibility of Carson Wentz doing some damage to this Washington secondary. Though he’s been injured, the rookie, Jalen Reagor didn’t practice during what ‘Birds’ fans affectionately refer to as ‘WentzDay’ like he wasn’t going to play on Sunday.

Philly spent the entire offseason revamping this offense and trying to get a little quicker, and with John Hightower and DeSean Jackson in the mix, this could be a scary good offensive unit if, again, Carson Wentz is vertical.

JJ Arcega-Whiteside has looked like he’s ready to fill the void left by Alshon Jeffery’s absence. The ‘Birds’ have two of the NFL’s ten best tight ends. There will be opportunities to score, but expect a spirited effort by Washington’s secondary. He’s questionable, but we expect Kendall Fuller to play. We expect former Eagle Ronald Darby to start on the opposite side at cornerback. We expect Landon Collins and Troy Apke to start at safety.

Again, there will be opportunities for the Eagles to make plays, the question is can they make said plays when opportunities present themselves. We won’t have to wait too much longer to find out.
