The Philadelphia Eagles should be envious of the 49ers’ personnel.

We don’t blame you if you don’t know who wide receiver Kendrick Bourne is. Unless you are a draftnik that was looking for late-round additions in your Fantasy League in 2017, you may not have known that the 49ers signed him as an undrafted free agent. That year, he had a solid training camp but didn’t have much production in the regular season as he finished his rookie season with 16 catches for 270 yards and zero touchdowns.

Bourne would continue grinding and see his production increase in each of the following two seasons. In 2020, he’s taken another step in his development and has hauled in ten catches for 164 yards. He’s on pace to finish the year with 53 receptions and over 800 yards, and he’s amassed at least 60 yards in each of his last two games. Don’t be surprised if he does the same versus the Eagles.

. Jeff Wilson, running back. 7. player. 42. .

The year after the 49ers brought in Bourne as an undrafted free agent, they signed running back Jeff Wilson as an undrafted rookie in 2018. Since then, San Francisco has used Wilson sporadically, but he’s been effective whenever he’s been on the field.

In 2018, Wilson suited up for two games and tallied 66 carries for 266 yards. Last season, he saw a slimmer workload, but he did more with his playing time, finishing the season with 27 carries for 105 yards and four trips to the end zone. He struggled against New York and ran the ball 12 times for a paltry 15 yards, but he also caught three receptions for 54 yards. His rushing numbers should pick up against the ‘Birds’.
