1. Carson Wentz wasn’t perfect for the Philadelphia Eagles but did just enough.

After a tipped passed that resulted in an interception early in the game, it would have been easy for Carson Wentz to crumble. But up from the ashes, Wentz arose, and the Eagles season has been resurrected.

Nobody was expecting a 180 degree turn out of Wentz. At this point fans and the franchise just need progress, and that’s exactly what they received. Carson Wentz is back, but only in terms of his toughness.

From articles to podcasts to radio shows, Wentz was the talk of Philadelphia all week leading up to the Sunday night showdown. Should he be benched? Should he be traded? Is it time for the franchise to quit on the $100 million-dollar man? No, no, and no.

Wentz gutted this victory out. He missed throws, and he panicked in the pocket at times. He threw his seventh interception of the season in Week 4, but when it mattered the most, he made the biggest throw of the season… to Travis Fulgham.

Wentz was the epitome of Philadelphia’s toughness on Sunday. In the end, he got the job done, and getting the job done leads to momentum. For the first time in this short 2020 season, the Eagles have something to build on. Expect ’11’ to keep building on this, and soon enough the MVP-candidate will be back. Somebody saddle up the ‘Wentz Wagon’. It’s rolling once again.
