54. . . . Greg Ward, wide receiver. 6. player

Greg Ward is the player the Philadelphia Eagles expected in the offseason.

Second-year wide receiver Travis Fulgham is quickly establishing himself as the team’s number-one receiver and seems to have earned the trust of Carson Wentz. The team still needs to find other guys to throw the ball to though, and that’s where Greg Ward comes in.

DeSean Jackon and Alshon Jeffery will be out once again in Week 6, so it’s up to Ward to help take some pressure off Fulgham. This season, he’s racked up some solid numbers as he’s hauled in 22 receptions for 172 yards and two touchdowns. He doesn’t have that breakaway speed, but he’s been dependable when he’s had his name called.

54. . . . Zach Ertz, tight end. 5. player

Although no one should be panicking about Zach Ertz‘s lack of production, there are definitely reasons to be concerned. This season, he’s caught 20 of the 35 passes Carson Wentz has thrown his way, and he’s on pace to finish the season with 64 receptions, his lowest total since 2014 when he had 58. His yard-after-catch average has also decreased s he’s gone from 2.9 in 2019 to 1.7 in 2020.

Regardless of what’s affecting him, Ertz needs to get out of his funk. The Eagles need as many playmakers as they can field versus the Ravens, and this would be the perfect game for ’86’ to show he’s still one of the best tight ends in the league.
