The Philadelphia Eagles offensive line continues to shuffle.

The Eagles offensive line keeps going through changes and based on how things have been playing out, that won’t stop anytime soon.

Nate Herbig has performed very well for the ‘Birds’ in 2020. After not taking any snaps as a guard in his rookie season, he has played every offensive snap of the current campaign, even switching from right guard to left guard in Week 3. Matt Pryor should resume his duties at right guard this week, but a lot of the Eagles’ success is now in the hands of Mr. Herbig.

54. . . . Lane Johnson, right tackle. 7. player

There are two ways to evaluate Lane Johnson in 2020. If you want to take the hyper-critical and pessimistic approach, you’ll see an ‘aging’ veteran that has missed two games due to ankle injuries in 2020, one who has played just 60 percent of the team’s total offensive snaps in Week 4 and 66 percent of the team’s overall snaps in Week 5.

On the other hand, Johnson is displaying resilience and determination to play despite dealing with injuries that have hampered him even before the season started. He could’ve opted for surgery but chose to play. After leaving the Eagles’ game versus the Ravens, he’ll be back in the lineup again in Week 7. That’s good news if you’re the Eagles.
