2. The Philadelphia Eagles continue to overcome injuries.

The Eagles continue to deal with a multitude of injuries, and unlike ‘Dem Boys,’ they’re one of the better teams in this division at managing them and remaining competitive. The Eagles have had their backs to the wall before and have risen to the occasion. Dallas isn’t used to this, and now with the spotlight on them, they appear to be shrinking.

Eagles fans are aware that Doug Pederson could run a multitude of schemes. The ‘Birds’  have now used a pistol formation, ’11 personnel’ (three wide receivers, a tight end, and a tailback), and ’12 personnel’ (two wide receivers, two tight ends, and a tailback). They’ve become adept at adjusting based on the opponent they are facing and who they have available. Now, if they could just make in-game adjustments, we’d be in business.

Zach Ertz and DeSean Jackson are on the injured reserve, Dallas Goedert is close to playing and had his 21-day practice window activated on October 28th, but the expectation, though not official, is that he will be available after the bye in Week 9. As for running back Miles Sanders, he’s still being given the day-to-day designation.

All of those guys are difference-makers, but there is some good news to report. 21-day practice windows have also been activated for wide receiver Jalen Reagor and left tackle, Jason Peters. It has been rumored that Reagor has a chance to play on Sunday night, and if that’s true, Carson Wentz will have Travis Fulgham, Jalen Reagor, John Hightower, Greg Ward, and Quez Watkins all in his arsenal. Are you excited yet? You should be.

With all of the receiving weapons for Wentz, if Miles Sanders and Jalen Reagor are good to go, the ‘Birds’ will be an unstoppable force against the Cowboys defense. Advantage: The Eagles
