Carson Wentz is probably somewhere hunting right now.

It probably isn’t often that you’ll find yourself in one of those stores that are dedicated to the outdoor life and you’ll hear a lot of discussions about whether or not the Philadelphia Eagles should start Carson Wentz or Jalen Hurts. Hearing comparisons between Eagles camp and Duck Camp are probably even more infrequent.

Then again, maybe that isn’t true. Recently, the Eagles’ star signal-caller spent about 40 minutes hanging out with outdoorsman Chad Belding on the latter’s ‘The Fowl Life’ podcast. Whether you spend your weeks off sitting in your recliner or catching up on some big-game hunting with your homies or family, like Philly’s QB1, this one is definitely worth a listen when you have a moment.

Seriously, where else can you hear someone compare training camp to Deer Camp or hear someone talk about the similarities between an off day in both sports so flawlessly?

Here’s something you may not know about Carson Wentz.

QB1’s similarities with Belding don’t just end with them hanging out on the same podcast. Both are stars on The Outdoor Network as well. Philly’s star signal-caller holds it down on his Wentz Bros Outdoors. Belding’s The Fowl Life is now in its 12th season on The Outdoor Network.

In addition to that, Belding is also the co-founder of Jargon Duck Calls. He also holds it down as the host of his This Life Ain’t For Everybody podcast, which he created in 2018, and he’s one of the founders of Banded. That’s a video production and merchandising company that specializes in hunting gear and outdoor accessories.

No one will ever accuse him of being lazy, will they? As far as Wentz goes, he and the Eagles are off in Week 9 but they return to the playing field in Week 10 for a Sunday afternoon game versus the hated New York Giants at 1 p.m. EST on November 15th.
