1. The Philadelphia Eagles quarterback needs to trust his teammates.

The Pittsburgh Steelers Week 9 matchup versus the Dallas Cowboys was unexpectedly entertaining, to say the least. The Steelers didn’t look prepared for this game as they couldn’t get anything going offensively. Their defense was just as unprepared, and as a result, Pittsburgh would find themselves down by four points on the scoreboard at the halftime break.

Roethlisberger displayed some inaccuracy and was pressured by the Cowboys defensive line, but the 17-year veteran didn’t panic. He remained calm. He stuck to the game plan, and above all else, he didn’t put the ball in harm’s way.

Unlike what we’ve seen from Wentz on more occasions than we would like to remember, Big Ben trusted his teammates to continue to fight through adversity. As a team, the Steelers continued to make plays. Had he been restless or throw the ball into heavy traffic, the Steelers might have given this one away and we would have been discussing a Cowboys upset.
