C.J. Verdell, RB, Oregon . 2. player. 820. . .

The Philadelphia Eagles get Miles Sanders some help in Round 2.

There’s no nice way to say this. The jury is still out on new Eagles wide receiver coach Aaron Moorehead. We didn’t get much of a sample size before he got hurt, but DeSean Jackson didn’t seem like he got much out of the guy.

Then, there’s this. Even though many of you will give Moorehead credit for the emergence of Travis Fulgham, his success might be more attributable to what he has on the inside than anything that his position coach is doing. What about Quez Watkins and John Hightower? Why don’t they look like they’re ready for the bright lights?

With that being said, Amon-Ra St. Brown and Tyler Vaughns of the USC Trojans both make sense after Round 1, especially for a team that will, more than likely lose Alshon Jeffery, DeSean Jackson, and move on from JJ Arcega-Whiteside. Then again, a team that has next to nothing at running back after Miles Sanders and Boston Scott could take a stab at a guy like C.J. Verdell.

Hamilcar Rashed Jr., an outside linebacker from the Oregon State Beavers should be available in Round 2, but the Eagles will ignore him. You all know how much respect they have for the linebacker position.
