Philadelphia Eagles way-too-early 2020 team awards
The most disappointing Philadelphia Eagles player is Carson Wentz.
Come on. Wasn’t this one obvious? Seriously, can you name someone that this team expected more out of and got less from than Carson Wentz?
Philadelphia Eagles Team MVP: Brandon Graham
Sure MVP Awards more often than not go to guys who play on offense, specifically quarterbacks, but B.G. might be the single most inspiring aspect of this Eagles team on both sides of the ball. Again, if he’s left off of the Pro Bowl roster, there needs to be an investigation.
Philadelphia Eagles Walter Payton Man of the Year: (Tie) Rodney McLeod, Jeffrey Lurie
Rodney McLeod is no stranger to philanthropy, but he’s also a quiet guy. So, over the years, we’ve tended to pay more attention to the guys who were a little more vocal.
McLeod is a hero in every sense of the word though as is Eagles Chairman and CEO Jeffrey Lurie whose Eagles Autism Foundation alone is enough to make one proud to be a Birds fan. Hats off to both of them.
