3. Philadelphia Eagles head coach Doug Pederson is not helping either.

Last but certainly not least, fingers have to be pointed at Doug Pederson. There should be an over/under on how many inside zones with a fake jet sweep he’ll run each game. He almost never hands the ball off to the motion man (who happens to be Reagor most of the time).

The defense is not going to bite on the jet motion if the motion man never gets the ball. Pederson should take some pointers from Sean McVay and Kyle Shanahan on this one. When he does hand it off on the jet sweep, Greg Ward is usually the motion man.

No offense to Greg Ward because he’s such a reliable slot receiver, but he’s not a burner. The bubble screens versus the Browns all went to Ward too. There haven’t been any reverses to Reagor this year (or if there have been, we can’t think of any). It just doesn’t make sense.
