Here are two more thoughts on the next Philadelphia Eagles game.

3. Head coach Doug Pederson will give up play-calling duties.

This past week was the first time that Eagles Head Coach Doug Pederson finally admitted that giving up his play-calling duties and passing them off to someone else is an option. Just like fans call for Carson Wentz to be benched, the attacks on Pederson’s game-planning and play-calling have gotten louder and louder.

4. Quarterback Carson Wentz will be benched in the second quarter of the game.

A lot of pressure has been on the Eagles franchise to put Wentz on the bench (it even rhymes), There’s been the pressure to let Jalen Hurts get more playing time, even if it’s only for a few more plays. If this game gets out of hand, which is a very real possibility, fans may see number 11 on the bench as they finally get their chance to see what the rookie quarterback can do if given an opportunity.

The Philadelphia Eagles have the talent on both sides of the ball to pull out a win over the Packers. They’ve done it before as underdogs, but there are quite a few recent issues that have reared their ugly heads that will need to be corrected if that dream is going to become a reality. Doug Pederson needs to start taking charge of this team as he has done in the past and do what is necessary to give this team its best chance of winning.
