3. Haven’t the Philadelphia Eagles given this guy enough chances already?

Who else has been allowed to stay in the lineup longer (and start) when it has been obvious that they’re performing at a pathetic level? Why aren’t we saying that everything isn’t John Hightower, Javon Hargrave, or Matt Pryor’s fault and constantly beating that drum?

Why the constant reminders of Carson Wentz’s potential when we don’t acknowledge Jalen Reagor for his? We don’t talk about how good he was at TCU, but we keep referencing how close 11 was to winning the NFL’s MVP Trophy in 2017. You realize that was three years and two season-ending injuries ago, right?

Oh, that’s right. We remember now. Carson Wentz is sensitive and must be treated with kid gloves. We can’t criticize him because he might break. We can’t coach him hard like John DeFilippo did or he might get upset, so we have to enable him with his buddy, Press Taylor.

Enough is enough already! Carson Wentz is not immune to criticism or being held accountable. He hasn’t been treated unfairly. If you want to discuss what’s unfair, how about the fact that we mention that no one has been afforded more opportunities?

Carson Wentz doesn’t deserve more playing time when guys like Will Parks are being released for poor play. Seriously? What about his upside and potential? Parks struggled. He got released. No one batted an eyelash except for our staff at ITI. There was no ‘this isn’t all on Will Parks discussion’. Oh and by the way, once he was on the market, right around one-fourth of the league’s teams lined up to sign him.

For once and for all, can we finally put the ‘this isn’t all on Carson rhetoric to bed’? He isn’t getting better this season. That’s been proven. It’s time for the rookie to be given his shot because yes, the postseason is still in play. Somewhere along the course of this past week, we forgot that while we were trying to piece Carson Wentz’s fragile ego back together. who knows? Maybe we should tuck Carson Wentz in at night and read him a bedtime story too?
