Here are two names that Philadelphia Eagles fans have been hearing for a while.

In situations like this one, experience is always a nice feather to have in one’s cap. Believe it or not Matt Pryor and Brett Toth are two of the veterans on this active roster now. Here’s a quick look at both of them.

1. Matt Pryor

It’s truly time for Matt Pryor to flip the light switch into the ‘on’ position now. Having been with the Eagles’ organization since 2018, when Philly selected him as a sixth-round draft choice out of the TCU Horned Frogs program, this six-foot-seven and 338-pound behemoth is the longest-tenured Bird on this list.

He had a rough training camp. He had that false start penalty versus the Cincinnati Bengals at the end of Week 3, but he’s very familiar with what Doug Pederson, his teammates, and offensive line coach Jeff Stoutland wants to do.

He’s one of the reasons that the Eagles allowed Halapoulivaati Vaitai to walk in the offseason. It’s time he proves that he can now be what the Eagles haven’t had since ‘Big V’ left, a versatile reserve lineman that can be plugged in everywhere.

2. Brett Toth

Despite entering the NFL as an undrafted free agent in 2018, Brett Toth has only seen three games of in-game activity in his young career. He hasn’t been named the starter for any of them.

It’s hard to imagine a scenario where he’s given the starting job at right tackle over Pryor, but with Dillard, Peters, Driscoll, and Johnson all being absent, he’ll have a few opportunities to prove that he deserves a spot on this team.
