The Philadelphia Eagles G.M. has earned a reputation for draft blunders.

Though he’s had some success in drafting, Philadelphia Eagles general manager Howie Roseman has also taken a few big swings that wound up being strikes and foul balls during his time in the City of Brotherly Love, and that’s much of the reason that fans would love to bid him a fond farewell.

Here’s a synopsis of what fans should already know about their current Eagles general manager, but for those casual fans that might be less familiar with him, Howie Roseman has been a part of this Eagles organization since 2000. He’s been given the title of general manager twice, where he served from 2010 to 2014 and again from 2016 to the present day.

Some fans may say that Howie’s best draft picks were taken during the Andy Reid years, but he had his share of misses there too. The belief is that recently, things have gotten even uglier as of late, but even with that being said, though things haven’t been all bad and fans should acknowledge him for some wise moves, he deserves just as much criticism for the snafus (and there are many of them to discuss).

It really sometimes seems like Roseman has had more success in signing free agents, but even that is debatable. Free agents don’t always pan out either. Okay, is everyone all caught up? Good! Let’s dive into the five worst draft picks by Mr. Roseman, and yes, it was a huge struggle to narrow it down to five.
